About Us

The Durham and Community Health Care Foundation was established in 1998 and with the communities support built and maintain the Durham Medical Clinic.

We have donated over $400,000.00 towards medical equipment for the SBGHC Durham Site. Doctor Recruitment and Retention continues to be one of projects

2010 is an exciting and busy year for the Durham and Community Health Care Foundation...The  Foundation  received word they have been approved for a grant of $925,000.00 to be matched by the Foundation for the building of an addition to the Durham Medical Clinic. This addition will double the size of the present clinic and will provide accomodation for the two doctors presently in temporary quarters and space for the Brockton and Area Family Health Team.

During this year 2010 the Durham and Community Health Care Foundation will continue to raise funds for the purchase of updated equipment for the SBGHC Durham Site....this year Bone Densitometry Equipment, an new ECG machine and a Vital Signs Monitor.
