Donors to charitable organizations receive great satisfaction when they see their donations at  work to provide benefits to their community.  The Foundation is an incorporated charitable organization  (#873034797 RR0001) established to provide financial support to the Durham Hospital to improve healthcare within Durham, West Grey, Southgate and area.

All  donations are appreciated.  They may be made as a single gift or as part of a monthly or yearly giving program.  Tribute gifts can be made to commemorate any occasion- birthday, anniversary,  retirement, get well, new arrival and best wishes.

In Memoriam gifts are an important part of the Foundation’s revenues each year.  And, what more appropriate way is there to give than to remember those loved ones in our lives.

Currently the combined federal and provincial tax credit for cash and cash equivalent donations equals 46.4%. This means a gift of $1,000 will result in a tax savings of $464, so the actual cost of the gift is only $536!

Please ensure you include an address where your charitable tax receipt can be mailed.

Cash or Credit Card Donations

Cash or credit card donations can be made in person at the Foundation office located in the Link between the Durham Hospital and the Durham Medical Clinic directly in front of the west entrance to the facility. Donations can also be made over the telephone using a credit card by calling 519-369-2340 ext 5267.

Donations can also be left at the hospital reception desk, if the office is closed.
